Hi! My name is Chanel Williams, or "Toot", and I'm the creator and owner of STARPower Mentorship Program. SP has done 3 LIVE show Productions and after the 3rd one and the impact it left on our Memphis community, it's time we take the show on the road! Not just to one other city, but TWO!!!

Well, what is STARPower? And why should you donate, you ask?

SP, founded in October 2021, is a faith-based program geared towards enhancing and expanding dancers' knowledge of God, ourselves, and the dance industry. Our community is based on moving with a Spirit of Excellence, Integrity, and Love. Each SZN includes 8 weeks of dance training, bible studies, team-building, industry exercises, and so much more. Because of what we do here, SP mentees have gone on to become Professional NBA dancers, perform with artists such as Pleasure P, Gloss, teach and curate dance intensives for their communities, etc. We're making an impact and we've only just begun. Having done 3 LIVE shows thus far (2 in Memphis and 1 in Nashville, we've seen the power in support and asking for help when needed and thankfully because of the quality we produce every cent has been deemed "WELL WORTH IT!!"

This is where you come in! All of our shows include 15+ dancers, over 100 hrs of studio time, a live band and bar to enhance the audience experience, food for casts, DJ/Lighting tech....oh it gives A PRODUCTION!!! We need your donation to help us lighten the load and put on a show for our SZN 5 mentees, which are both in ATL & Nashville! We will combine both groups in each city for the shows and aside from our regular expenses we would like to provide housing, gas cards, and even stipends for our talent. So many times, we dancers have to take on a full-time job and side hustles while trying to fund our dream...imagine a world where movement artists could be compensated for the hard work and sacrifice we actually put in? It's not impossible. It can start with you and everyone you know making small and/or large donations, pouring into those who believe in their gifts and want to give them back to the community in a quality manner.
