Hello, my name is Veneisha Pierre. I was born and raised in Boynton Beach, Florida, and this community has shaped me into the woman I am today. A few years ago, I started a community movement called Revamp Society. Even though it was never fully official, it brought hundreds of people together. We stood side by side during protests, spoke up for what was right, supported our youth, and did everything we could to bring strength and unity back into our neighborhoods. Revamp Society has always been about the power of people coming together.
This year I am taking a new step and partnering with Vela’s Center for Compassion and Hope Inc to host our First Annual Revamp Society Toy Drive. The event will be held at Lakeview Baptist Church located at 2599 North Swinton Avenue in Delray Beach, Florida. It will take place on Saturday, December 27, from 12 pm to 5 pm. Our goal is to give back to the kids and families in our community and create a holiday experience filled with joy and love.
The Grandma Place Inc, a local adoption agency, will also be joining us and bringing families together to celebrate and take part in the holiday festivities.
We want this to be more than a toy giveaway. We plan to have food and drinks, bounce houses, fun games, gingerbread decorating, Christmas activities, concession stands, and a safe space where families can celebrate the season together. We want every child to leave with a smile and every family to feel supported.
My mission with Revamp Society is to rebuild, reunite, and reconstruct our broken communities. Boynton is home, and I believe in pouring back into the same place that raised me. This is real community work from the heart.
I also want to be transparent. Revamp Society is not finalized as an official nonprofit yet. We are working toward completing everything at the start of the new year. This toy drive is happening from our own efforts and the love we have for our community. There is no outside organization funding this event. It is us showing up because we care.
Your donation will help us provide toys, decorations, food, games, supplies, and everything needed to make this holiday event unforgettable. Any amount truly helps.
If you cannot donate financially, you can still support in a big way.
You can share this GoFundMe to help us reach more people.
You can drop off items at the Toy Drop Off Locations listed on the flyer.
We are accepting much more than toys.
• Toys
• Clothes
• Shoes
• Diapers
• Wipes
• Hygiene and living essentials
• Items for kids ages 0 through 18
• Food, water, and drinks to help us prepare and serve families at the event
Anything helps and everything makes a difference.
Thank you for believing in this mission and helping us bring Revamp Society back to life. Thank you for supporting our kids and our city.
Together we can rebuild. Together we can uplift. Together we can revamp.
