Hello clients, friends, and colleagues. I've been a massage therapist for more than 45 years and have helped countless clients prepare for and recover from orthopedic surgeries, like hip, shoulder, and knee replacements. Now, I'm one of them!

I'm having hip replacement surgery on February 18, 2026, something I've been putting off for awhile but can no longer avoid due to the pain and limitation of in my left hip.

Recovery will take 4-6 weeks, with a slow return to work after that as I continue to heal.

As a self-employed sports massage therapist, this much time off means a loss of income of up to $10,000.

Over the past 40+ years, it has been my honor to be part of the care team for thousands of clients and to share my passion for health and healing through my writing and teaching. My healing goal is to continue this path for years to come.
