Legitimately awesome. I love BoyBoy. I think there are legitimate criticisms to levy against them but they are really doing meaningful work in big ways and that's fucking awesome

They're just a little white dudey sometimes. Not as careful with their word choice and privilege. It's a minor complaint. They aren't perfect, basically. They are cool as fuck though

Feel like that's just splitting hairs. I could understand those criticisms against Friendly Jordies, but I can't think of anything that the Boy Boy boys have done that's deserving of any level of tone policing.

The IDidAThing guy bought a massive american-style truck which is pretty objectively a terrible thing to do. If he needed it to haul bullshit surely he could've gotten something smaller.

He bought a ranger. Its 2'' longer, 5'' wider, and 2'' taller than the Toyota Hilux. those two and a mitsubishi basically make up the "small ute" market over there.

It's splitting hairs to hold it against him, especially since he likely uses it more than 99% of American pickup drivers.

Youtubers. They also run the less-political channel I Did A Thing

They don't do any hard theory or anything. But they do cool stuff that I think serves as entryism into leftism. Like the video where they go to the DPRK and all the while making fun of the absolute insansity that western media propogates about the country. https://youtu.be/2BO83Ig-E8E or made an actually good explainer video about the Russia-Ukraine war https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LL4eNy4FCs8&pp=0gcJCcUKAYcqIYzv (lmao the comments). Or when they snuck a pro-Palestinian statue into a zionist art thing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8DCXla898s

A lot of their stuff is kinda youtuber slop which isn't always my taste but every video I have seen they seem really cool and based, they seem principled.

YouTubers who did shit like sneaking into a CIA base in the Australian outback, travelling to the DPRK for haircuts, smuggling a pro-Palestinian sculpture into an art expo, showering with a whistleblower who blew the lid on Australian war criminals, stuff like that. Always accompanied with the appropriate political commentary, of course.
