Because of the violence inherent in the country, and also because the state rehabilitating people means their tax dollars going toward helping people.

When I read that, I thought about the types of people joining ICE, and, maybe even more disturbingly, it came off as a meme.

To think that these people are so flippant, callous and apathetic is terrifying.
