Being a fan of the dry and colder side of the Sisters, this release really hits the sweetest of spots: Darkways have crafted a collection of instant genre anthems, merging classic goth/wave/electro sentiments and modern execution like few others did in recent years. It's dance-able, it's melancholic and it's the one album that makes me want to go out and roam the neon-lit city on a rainy summer night.

Probably the UKs most exciting goth band in 2026. Young, gorgeous, and with a sound that subtly busts the confines of the minimalist revivalism permeating the subgenre since the early 2010s. They reach back through time while sounding incredibly current. This EP makes good on their early promise, and I'd like to see them push that further where too many of their predecessors have stayed comfortable. Great, J x

Sacrifice is fantastic! I first heard it on a MidnightGothCommunity playlist. A quick search brought me to Minuit Machine's bandcamp. I'm late finding this band, but so happy I did.
