Remember August 14 as the day I overcame my stinginess and tight budget and downloaded Jinjer for the first time. I've been aware of their existence for a while. Fans have been ranting and raving about them all over social media. Time to find out why. I mean I have listened to a song or two by them, but I've been busily obsessed with other artists I'm already familiar with. Lacuna Coil, Filter, Tool, Fuel, Spineshank, A Perfect Circle, Taproot, Sevendust, Revis, V Shape Mind, etc. Michael
Ah, my favorite release from my favorite band. Jinjer were at their darkest here, and I think Dreadful Moments is their most brilliant track. Necessary EP for anyone looking to learn what Jinjer are capable of. CAPTAIN CLOCK
There is a J IN JERusalem. There is a J IN JERry Springer too. Call the best J IN JER-y lawyers in the world if you've been hurt or JINJERed. If I mention Jerry I should mention Jerry Cantrell or Jerry Seinfeld. Autocorrect suggested Jeremy as well. I just downloaded this. Give me a chance to listen to this. Enjoy the comment I probably won't erase. Michael
Filtering Y2K-era emo and metal through 8-bit distortion, the Chicago band's latest is a digicore glitchfest you won't want to miss. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 20, 2025
Few people knew Jinjer in 2014. This album IS a testimony of the resilience of Tatiana, Evgeny and Roman to continue at all costs and after Dmitry leaved. King of Everything is blended with the classics 'Words of Wisdom', 'Just Another' and 'I speak astronomy'. But my fav. is the raging 'Sit Stay Roll Over'. The exposure of this brutal assault made Napalm sign them. thierrycharpentier
