Gaurav Sharma is a postgraduate research student of Industrial Biotechnology at Gujarat Technological University, with over 5 years of experience in innovation research. He has been internationally recognized as a research scholar by prestigious global institutions like Sichuan University (China) and Queen’s University Belfast (UK). With a diverse research background, Gaurav’s experience extends to national and international bodies (Shoolini University and Henkel Co. – Germany) and his role as a research mentor in national programs highlights his commitment to fostering impactful innovation.

His achievements – national awards (SITARE-BIIS-Award), project grants (from DBT-BIRAC, SSIP), patents, and several fully funded international fellowships (CGI-U’24 – New York, UIP-China, Kectil Program, United States) – showcase his dedication for research. Gaurav envisions propelling India’s healthcare innovation research to global prominence by reinvigorating the potential of traditional knowledge in healthcare.
