I always heard it called the “chicken lane” when you had wide roads you were trying to make a left across but couldn’t get all the way over.
The comments in the San Antonio Newspaper Facebook feed are just a massive cesspool of people publicly celebrating the opening of new detention facilities, and want more. I wish there was a way to argue the point, but these people are beyond the realm of logic.
The EU… of which Hungary is part of?
He lost the plot the moment he had the US VP stumping for him and Trump supporting him.
Convertibles and coupes are also a dying breed.
Did you not even think what would happen?

Doesn’t matter if the money is coming from the company or the insurance. The point is, it’s more than can ever come from me.
New goal: cause more damage than I’ll ever be able to possibly repay in my lifetime, ensuring that they take a loss they cannot recover from me.
You’re good. No worries
Yeah it’s crazy some of the stories I’ve seen about how a guy doesn’t consider his step kids his own even though he’s raised them since birth. Or find out that the kid wasn’t his due to a mix up of infidelity. Or says that he could never love an adopted child “because it’s not his blood running through their veins”.
Im floored too that quite a few guys think this way, and I’ve heard it from their mouths. I’m very much “blood does not a family make”. But these people think you have to have some chromosomal relation to feel a bond.
My favorite is the stupidly hard line around cheating. Shit happens, relationships are complicated, it’s not an ultimate deal/trust breaker. I’ve had it happen to me and I’m still with them and we trust each other. I also realized there were needs of hers I was not fulfilling, so it wasn’t just her fault.
It makes me wonder if these are the same people that couldn’t handle adoption or someone else’s kid because it’s not “theirs”, rather than looking at it that a kid just needs a loving family.
Yup. I’d say they fall under “hate promoters”, I mean they’re trying to genocide an entire population. Leave the Palestinians alone and let them have their land. Not to mention now they’re attacking Syria.
I don’t know if his greed or narcissism is greater….
“Dick in a glass case”…. To be used in case of emergency
I remember seeing elementary kids use the subways in Hong Kong by themselves. In Japan there are kids everywhere taking themselves to and from school. Why does mom need a car to tote them around if the city and transportation are built out correctly.
Any other party has a better chance at winning a popular vote
Not defending them, but there is some serious doubt there. Any other party, besides republicans, put up the same showing as Linux in a Steam survey. Sure it looks like they’re growing at 100%, but it’s still only 5% overall.
Until that is broken and majority of people realize there are more than two parties, your best approach is going to be primarying and change within the party.
Except most people haven’t even heard of the PSL. Hell, I tend to stay on top of politics and never even heard about them till today. So they’re really no more of an opposition at this point than a random few people who say they want to change the country.
Bernie and AOC are trying to effect change from within the system, which at this point is a more powerful place to do it from.
Bernie Sanders and AOC are about the closest you would get to a true opposition. But given that their own party keeps gimping them they can’t do much except stump for their position.
In the US, I’d argue that the democrats are a “controlled opposition” that is also subservient to the same oligarchs that have captured the republicans.
Except if you’re relying on AI, you’ve already given up that level of control and are letting the system decide for you.
In your example, how would you continue to train the model for feedback loops and false positives? That isn’t an AI question, but just a general system design question.
At that point, would you go through a weekly recap of posts to see what may have slipped by? The real issue is going to be detecting sarcasm.
I’ve migrated two Datacenters and the sound when the last server goes offline is something else. You know it’s supposed to be quiet, but your mind still races for a bit, thinking there’s something wrong.
