The Arizona trial comes two years after Vallow Daybell was convicted in Idaho for the deaths of her two young children and the first wife of her current husband, Chad Daybell. Vallow Daybell is serving five life sentences without the possibility of parole in Idaho.
Chad Daybell was similarly convicted for all three murders in May. He was sentenced to death.
Lori Vallow Daybell is also charged with conspiracy to commit the murder of Brandon Boudreaux, the ex-husband of Lori Vallow Daybell’s niece. He was shot at by someone in a Jeep in Arizona in 2019.
Investigators later pieced together the case, suggesting Lori Vallow Daybell had conspired with her brother, Alex Cox, to kill both her late husband, Charles Vallow, and Boudreaux.
The Arizona trial will begin with opening statements on Monday, April 7.
East Idaho News reported that the Boudreaux trial against Lori Vallow Daybell is expected to start on June 2.
