Don’t apologise, your points are valid.
I agree that there won’t be a return to normal, I even said that above, but Europe does not have the manufacturing capability to replace the US as an ally in the next few years. Hence there is either a hole in defence capabilities or we turn to another questionable country to fill that hole.
On the Hungary thing, that is what I also meant as in similar: deal with the situation for now as best you can, and hope for the light at the end of the tunnel to bring about their domestic change.

Arguably this energy crisis comes at an sub-optimal time for AI, where many models are struggling to monetize their models, while burning cash like mad. Either that, or they effectively just solar up the entire country in a matter of months…

The problem isn’t the entire US, it appears to be this regime. So if you can wait out like 2+ years, there may be a return of interest in communal support. Likely never back to the reliance case as was normal for the last decades, but mutual support is worth holding out for.
Similar to Hungary and the EU situation IMO.

OP didn’t state this clearly, but I went and looked. The app is not for replacing consults, only billing etc. so I’d put it in the “annoying, but not world ending” category.

If this was for a GP, I would agree with this stance. But a good, fitting and competent mental health professional can be harder to find.

And to piggy back this question: what alternatives do you have and are they actually viable?
Now do one after a bit of hand moisturizer!
One press per day. Keeps you checking back and the game running long enough for it to pick up steam :)

I hate this superiority complex that is growing here. Like don’t just drop something like this, take like 20 seconds to explain why.
This is clearly a person who just wanted friendly interaction and the whole site shits on them without any meaningful explanation.
To OP: There appears to be a consensus that the app is basically spyware as most conversations lack encryption, meaning anyone can read your messages and see your interactions. I don’t use it however, so I cannot comment further.
I mean it seems the more complex solution in deployment for sure, but its design could still have use in low heat industrial uses (sub 250°C, e.g. food prep, textile, sanitation etc.) where it is used heat -> heat rather than heat -> electricity -> heat. Maybe these replace thermal collectors eventually.
But that is not the point of this meme at all, just my thoughts.

If you are physically and socially active, but still don’t feel self-value and have tried the standard things (e.g. taking a break, eating well etc) then maybe therapy is the best option?

Many providers offer fluctuating pricing, which closely matches the spot price to incentivise off peak use. Whilst not a 100% match to production, it is somewhat closer.
Spot prices would not be manageable for most private users.

Don’t have the patience for YouTube videos anymore, but it is oil? It’s gotta be oil!
This is such a lame take. Like there are a shitload of legitimately fantastic community investigative journalists fighting to make a difference, but you’d rather shit on them too because Rupert Murdoch exists.

Ja… der UX ist nicht zu vergleichen mit Spotify… aber ich sehe es als DIY-Projekt und hab sehr viel dadurch gelernt.

Dsub2000 ist eine Option :)
The fact that this could pretty much be a pcm meme too makes it top notch!
Glad the match has come alive in the 2nd half
