Stories From the Blue Couch
Stories From the Blue Couch
Birth Detroit's mission is to midwife safe, quality, loving care through pregnancy, birth and beyond. A non-profit created by birth workers, birth advocates, and public health leaders, Birth Detroit opened its first neighborhood care center in Detroit in September 2020. Birth Detroit continues to fundraise for Detroit's first birth center, due to open in 2021. We dream of a world where birth is safe, sacred, loving, and celebrated for everyone. Our core values are safety, love, trust, and justice.
