Sustainable care for Rare Tumour Risk Syndromes | PREVENTABLE was created to assess the clinical, social and financial impact of applying multidisciplinary and specialized care to prevent advanced disease in families suffering from rare tumour risk syndromes (RTRS). RTRS are a group of rare diseases genetically determined from birth and that affect approximately 5 in 10 000 people or less worldwide. Patients suffering from RTRS have high risk for developing cancer and for transmitting the disease to their descendants.
