Congratulations to the City of Elizabeth on breaking ground at Pulaski Street for the new Tennis and Pickleball Courts! The Groundbreaking Ceremony, held on Monday, March 9, 2026, was a wonderful celebration attended by community members, teachers and students from the local high school, SCE project team members, and City officials. It was a beautiful day marking the transformation of this once vacant open space into a fantastic addition to the City’s growing network of athletic and recreation facilities.

SCE Announces the Retirement of Executive Vice President Andrew Holt
SCE announces the retirement of Executive Vice President, Andrew S. Holt, effective December 31, 2024. Joining SCE in 1997, Mr. Holt oversaw much of the company’s financial and strategic plan development and implementation, creating exciting growth, and professional development opportunities within SCE. Compliment the above with three decades of engineering consulting in the public and private sector, Mr. Holt understood the critical role consulting engineers play in successfully advancing Client projects. With over 27 years of dedicated service, it was his personal goal to see that his skills, experience, and endless pursuit of education are transferred to all of SCE’s professional resources, allowing even greater progress for our Clients.
