Capital Green is the oldest competitive all-gender a cappella group at Michigan State University. Over the past year, they have performed at various venues both competitively and recreationally. Most notably, CG returned to the ICCA, the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella. In 2024, they placed first in quarterfinals and semifinals and became the only group from Michigan State to advance to the finals in New York City in MSU history. Aside from competing in the ICCA every year, Capital Green enjoys singing at the annual MSU Accapalooza concert, going on retreat each fall, and participating in many other events and traditions on and off campus. Most importantly, Capital Green is a tight-knit chosen family that enjoys making memories and spending time with each other.
