My story in a nutshell?
I spend my days pouring into my students, and then come home to pour into my babies—& for a long time, it never felt like enough. I was stretched thin, craving rest, connection, & me again.
After having my son, life shifted in ways I didn’t expect. Going from 1 to 2, (2 & under) was beautiful—but also overwhelming. I walked through postpartum depression, & while it was one of the hardest things I’ve faced, it lit a fire in me: to help other mommas feel less alone in the mess & the magic of prenatal & postpartum healing.
On maternity leave, I finally caught my breath. I fell in love with slow mornings, toddler giggles, & motherhood in its fullness. But when it was time to return to the classroom, I knew I couldn’t keep running on empty.
That’s when I began rebuilding—with simple, sustainable wellness habits: fueling my body, moving it gently, supporting my mind, & creating space in my day. Not a full makeover. Not bouncing back. Just finding my way back to me.
