PIAA GIVING DAY
PIAA GIVING DAY
The PIAA Program at CSU East Bay empowers first-generation, low-income, and historically underrepresented students by providing coordinated academic support, proactive advising, and community-building experiences that promote college persistence and graduation. PIAA focuses on creating an equitable learning environment where students feel supported, valued, and confident navigating the university. Through holistic services, mentorship, and skill-building opportunities, the program helps students overcome barriers, strengthen academic foundations, and achieve their long-term goals. PIAA plays a vital role in campus equity efforts by uplifting student success and fostering belonging across the university.

In collaboration with the TARO Academic Pathway, students in ES 364 will host storytelling (kuwentuhan) / interview sessions with PIAA students to better understand how the program can support student needs. If you’re interested, please complete this form and an ES 364 student will contact you to schedule an interview. Participation is voluntary, and you may choose to remain anonymous by using a pseudonym. Stories and interviews will be used only to inform improvements to the PIAA program and will not affect your academic or program standing.
