Submit to a departmental cookbook!🍲
This is a personal project of Literary Studies graduate student, Cecelia Alfonso-Stokes. I was recently reminded of the community cookbooks my mother had growing up and the delicious meals from these cookbooks that I make for my own family 30 years later. Although many of the communities we got these cookbooks from no longer exist, the recipes continue to nourish its prior members as well as those who never knew these groups of people. Our own English community is so diverse and vibrant and I know I could only benefit from sharing and exchanging recipes. We have people in this department that represent all corners of the world, palates, dietary preferences and restrictions, and expertise. Once I receive 30 recipes, I will assemble a Google Document that will be shared within the department. Contributions will continue to be added after this point. Thank you so much!
