Thank you for your interest in the Sierra Club Georgia Chapter Legislative Liaisons volunteer program! Legislative Liaisons Role is designed to make constituent lobbying accessible to climate activists and Sierra Club volunteers. The program offers training and resources to make engaging with elected officials in the Georgia Legislature easier. Liaisons are expected to meet with their elected officials (state Representatives and Senators) at least two times and attend meetings and trainings with Chapter staff and their fellow liaisons during the Georgia Legislative session. The program requires only a 1-2 weekly commitment during session and will offer virtual and in-person options. This year we will be hitting the ground running to help regulate and mitigate the impacts of Data Centers in Georgia. For more info, please visit the 2026 Legislative Liaisons Info-Hub.
