Lipscomb Volleyball showed an impressive 2024 season, and the program returned to the ASUN Championship Match for the second-straight year. The Bisons landed four student-athletes on the All-ASUN team. Courtney Jones and Meg Mersman were selected to the First Team and Sophia Hudepohl was named to the Second Team. Addi Pelham rounded out the representation for Lipscomb on the Third Team.The Lipscomb Volleyball program looks to build off of a great 2024 season and improve in several areas. These efforts will be focused on player development, recruiting and team branding.Lipscomb Athletics is now in its 21st year of NCAA D1 eligibility. After winning the program’s first-ever ASUN Championship in 2024, the Bisons reloaded for the 2025 season and ended with several postseason honors, headlined by Jaron Leasure being named ASUN Scholar Athlete of the Year. Leasure was also named to the ASUN All-Academic Team, while teammates Alejandro Rodriguez and Minas Manias were listed on the All-ASUN Second Team. Lipscomb Men’s Golf plans to continue program growth and improvements while building a strong name. Athlete development, recruiting, and team branding will all be areas of focus. Lipscomb Women’s Golf set off the 2024-25 campaign earlier this school year. The Bisons tallied stellar results both individually and as a team. Lauren Thompson was named ASUN Golfer of the Week after her great performance at The Robbie. She finished tied for fourth. As a team, Lipscomb finished in second place.Lipscomb Women’s Golf continues to set its mindset on a winning identity and looks to improve in several areas. The Menʻs Soccer team saw impressive performances across the board last season. Javanne Smith was named to the All-ASUN first team, Dan Karsten was named the ASUN freshman of the year and earned a spot on the All-Freshman team, and Daniel Stampatori and Luca Naumann were named to the ASUN All-Academic team. Six Bisons were also selected to the CSC Academic All-District team.The Bisons are looking to make improvements across the department as the Lipscomb Men’s Soccer brand continues to make a name for itself. The Bisons come off of the 2024 season with multiple ASUN All-Conference honors including Josey Polk Third Team All-Conference and Alyssa Hastings All-Freshman team. Lipscomb Menʻs Tennis ended last season seeing numerous successes at both a team and individual level.
