Bio
My name is Meredith Glasco and I am an emerging Museum Professional with a focus on Museum Studies and Art since 1950.
I graduated Cum Laude from the University of Mary Washington in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History, Major in Historic Preservation, and Minor in Museum Studies. I received a Departmental Honor Distinction in Art History for my double thesis work Madame de Pompadour's Feminist Identity and A Visual Culture study of the East Wing of the Washington, D.C. National Gallery.
I am currently a graduate student of Art History at Virginia Commonwealth University, expected graduation date of May 2024.
My current Master's Thesis is centered on the Smithsonian American Art Museum's Lunder Conservation Center and its relationship to overlooked academic research spaces in museums.
