Breathing - June 11th, 2025
Join the Monarca Center for Healing & Justice for our Sustainable Movements Series "Breathing". Breathing is a new offering designed to help you learn and develop a practice of breathing (or breathwork). The lungs are a vital organ for our health and wellbeing; they're also the organ where we unconsciously store grief. We are currently living in unprecedented political times and organizing around the clock to stop the threat of authoritarianism while working to build a new world (where many worlds exist). We must arm ourselves with the tools to ensure we maintain our breath and life-force energy, allowing us to continue the work long-term. We will be delivering a 60-minute healing container, focusing on breathing. As activists and organizers, we need to breathe and stay in our bodies so that we can identify and recognize our needs and prevent burnout. This container will take place June 11th from 6:30-7:30PM MST
