--EVENT ADMISSION WITH DONATION OF $10 OR MORE--Just show us your email receipt at the door. PODER NYC is ushering in the renaissance of civic engagement. Usually, it's all about just registering people to vote. But not everyone has access to the vote and many aren't bought in to the need to vote. PODER is all about centering the folks at the margins, educating them about important reasons to get involved, and connecting them to practice things they can take action on. We do this through workshops, multi-media resources, strategic partnerships, and more! For our first fundraiser of 2023, the incomparable Paco May is hosting us at his beautiful gallery showing called "Night Lights;" which celebrates queer nightlife in NYC. We are seeking to raise funds and build connections that will jump start 2023's programming.
