Southern Oregon Aspire is a non-profit providing support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. | Since 1975, Southern Oregon Aspire supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Josephine and Jackson Counties. We focus on their "abilities" and not their "disabilities". We currently support over 150 individuals in residential housing, community employment placement & training, and daily community activities.

We believe all people should be seen for their abilities and should have the opportunity and freedom to explore, choose the life they want to live, and be an active part of our community. Southern Oregon Aspire was formed in 1975 by a group of parents wanting more for their children. Instead of placing their loved ones in a state institution or restricting their interaction to only their home, these parents sought after a better life for their children. 46 years later, Southern Oregon Aspire is still “Inspiring Unlimited Opportunities for People to Create the Life They Choose.” We provide residential supports, community living supports, community employment training and placement and daily community activities.
