RSVP to 2026 Backpack with MAK Hikes
Supervisor Margaret Abe-Koga's community hiking series returns! You are invited to join all five hikes this year. Those who attend every hike win a special prize at the last hike. Please check off which hike you are RSVPing for. Each hike is limited to 25 participants. Hike Details: Each hike will begin at 9:30AM on its respective date. Entrance, parking and trail length details will be emailed to you closer to each hike date. Each hike will be approximately 90 minutes long. Remember to bring water, a hat, sturdy athletic/hiking shoes and sunscreen! Please direct any questions to rene.fong@bos.sccgov.org.

We're gathering to recognize five AAPI leaders who are bridge‑builders, protectors of heritage and community champions whose efforts make our neighborhoods more just, more compassionate and more unified. 📅 Date: Friday, May 1, 2026 📍 Location: Mountain View Community Center - Redwood Hall ⏰ Time: 11:30AM to 2PM (check-in begins at 11AM) 👗 Dress Code: Cultural attire or formal. We welcome you to celebrate your cultural heritage by wearing pieces such as Áo Dàis, baos, kimonos, Baro't Saya, Sarees or kutras. or any traditional clothing that you are proud of.
