So who is Bishop Emilianos?
1971 – Born in Kalymnos, Greece
1990 – Studying Physio in Thessaloniki, visits Simonopetra Monastery and meets ✞Elder Aimilianos. Impressed, leaves world, becomes novice.
1993 – Tonsured Great Schema Monk
2003 – After 14 years at Simonopetra and a Theology degree, contacts ✞Archbishop Stylianos of Australia (who he knew from Mount Athos). His Elder’s wish was for him to establish a new monastery. Lands in Adelaide, Australia.
2004-2019 – Ordained Deacon. Establishes Saint John's Monastery Perth, leads as Abbott for 15 years. Ordained Priest. Becomes Spiritual Father. Elevated to Archimandrite.
2019 – Under Archbishop Makarios, becomes Chancellor of the Holy Archdiocese of Australia. Elevated to Bishop of Meloa.
2021 – Creates Orthodoxy app. Becomes Vicar General - Archdiocesan District of Brisbane.
