I did the 6 week introduction course as a complete beginner to pottery. I was absolutely not a natural but Lucinda made it fun, interesting, and helped me to get better and better! Getting lots of time on the wheel and choosing what we wanted to make from start to finish was fantastic. I have pieces that I am so proud of and use every day! It's such a great feeling to have started with no knowledge at all and come away with some really lovely pieces of pottery. I would recommend the Wheelhouse to anyone who wants to have ago, even if you know nothing at all, Lucinda is truly a brilliant teacher.
A lovely space to experience throwing clay on the wheel. Supportive, encouraging tuition throughout the lesson. Lucinda’s own pottery pieces are beautiful, mine not so, but the taster class was a lot of fun!
Lu, you are a very talented potter and I’m so pleased with our vase 🥰 not only do you create beautiful pieces to buy, but now you have opened a fabulous studio to teach others. I thoroughly enjoyed our taster session and would recommend anyone to give it a go! You are a great teacher. Looking forward to bring some friends down to try it soon. Good luck! X
