UW Farm Mini CSA Interest Form
UW Farm Mini CSA Interest Form
In the past, the UW Farm has offered an affordable Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program for students in partnership with the UW Food Pantry. Each week, for a small fee, participants would receive a random assortment (5-10 items) of fresh UW Farm produce, delivered to a convenient on-campus location. The farm is considering reviving the program and is seeking the input of pantry visitors.

This map includes supermarkets/large grocery stores (food stores with an annual income above $2 million, as defined by the USDA ERS) along with UW affiliated food stores and the local food bank(s). Low income and low food access areas are highlighted to indicate potential food desert areas.

The Daily - Autumn 2024 marks highest demand in UW Food Pantry history
This fall quarter marked a record-breaking demand for the UW Food Pantry, which saw a 14.3% increase in patrons from fall quarter of 2023, with 7,561 total visitors compared to 6,617. Despite this increase, the pantry remained open for the entire academic quarter.

Demand atUW’s Food Pantryhas doubled compared to this time last year, jumping from 324 to 681 visits per week. With the quarter not yet finished, the number of visits has totaled to 4,547, compared to fall of 2022, with 3,642 total visits.
