Register for "Catholic Church Law and Women's Rights: Pathways and Barriers," March 9
Hosted by the Women’s Ordination Conference and Catholic Women's Council , this event examines how Catholic canon law under the Holy See affects access to justice for women and girls. A panel of legal experts will present background on canon-law structures and their conflicts with human rights, and its far-reaching impact on cultural norms and practices that limit the full and equal participation of women and girls in both church and society. We will propose reforms to ensure the Holy See is compliant with its human rights obligations, as well as its own values, including: survivor-centered processes, gender-equal decision-making, and equal access to leadership. Monday, March 9, 2026 2:30-4 p.m. ET (USA) Via Zoom Register below for the zoom link.
