1·2 days agoI’ve never been so invested in the construction of a bridge lol, I love that Himmel did that just for Frieren
Frieren playing The Witcher 3 right now with a monster contract, and the monster is beautiful
nice to see Frieren doing a bit of ZoltraAK-47, usually she’s sandbagging more
Fern using the lesson from her fight in ep8
finally they have money
“because that’s what Mistress Frieren would do” 😭
the credits montage is nice
great post-credits scene!

Technology@piefed.social•The Ultimate OS Showdown: Windows vs. macOS vs. Linux vs. ChromeOSEnglish
3·6 days agoAnother drawback is that support for hardware peripherals is behind that of Windows, macOS, and even ChromeOS.
MacOS and ChromeOS? I doubt this, especially ChromeOS is using the Linux kernel, it should literally have all the same drivers
Maybe they mean for the device that it ships with?
I see Threadiverse up, I’m happy.
It’s kinda weird including Catodon and NodeBB in the Threadiverse though.
Isn’t Catodon still primarily for Microblogging?
And NodeBB has lots of users but they haven’t actually integrated with us, I don’t think I ever see posts/comments from NodeBB users (except Julian lol). And they don’t seem to have any good active general communities that are federated, just hyper specific stuff. There’s just not a lot of cross-pollination of the userbases.

If they want to do this, they should focus on simultaneous dub releases, and make sure they’re high quality. Dubs being delayed means internet discussions become fractured, it kills viral posts.
