Sunburn Mixtape - EP

Tucker Wetmore serves up a sampler on this six-pack of tunes, three of which are previously unreleased. The country star’s first project since 2025’s What Not To LP, Sunburn Mixtape is a compact collection of the breezier, sun-bleached side of Wetmore’s brand of country, which lands somewhere between Morgan Wallen and Kenny Chesney. “Crazy to Yourself” dips into the laidback, blue-eyed soul popularised by Thomas Rhett, letting Wetmore show off his charisma and vocal agility with a rapid-fire melody. Love song “98%” is heavy on wordplay, like when Wetmore glides through the tongue-twisting lyric “Well, it might be coincidental/But it won’t be accidental/When I run up incidentals in my hotel room with you.” The final new addition on the EP is “Yours,” a Randy Montana co-write that takes a popular lyrical conceit—“this is your song”—and freshens it up with naturalistic imagery and a yacht-rock groove. Wetmore rounds out the collection with three summer-ready fan favourites, the post-What Not To loosies “Who Told You That”, “Sunburn” and “Proving Me Right”.
