But even as PRAY FOR ME floats across a dreamlike diorama of Caribbean club beats (“WiiCKEDEST”), dusty ’90s-throwback drum loops (“Everyone’s Girl”) and post-“NOKIA” booty-bass bangers (“SAVE A MOMENT”), RAAHiiM’s velvet-smooth yet vulnerable voice makes the seediest strip-club escapades and bitter breakup conversations feel sweet and wholesome.
