可爱的小面瓜

Snow Patrol一直善于对小情绪细腻地表达，几个词却表达了很多的意思。让我想起以前专辑里的“I am trying not to stare. it's too late. the blanket is over there, if you like.”简单的词语，复杂的心理。

这张专辑第一首里
“I found a hair the length of yours on my sleeve
I wound it round and round my finger so tight
It turned to purple and a pulse formed inside”

试问英伦还有谁能写出这样细腻的词？这便是Snow Patrol的迷人之处。

一直认为Snow Patrol的歌声有些面，有些嫩，然而就是这么一个小面瓜才能够将注意力集中到细节上。我喜欢snow patrol，因为我也是一个面瓜。



新专辑听了几遍，小评一下：

the golden floor是我第一次就留下印象的一首，让我想到电影《in bruges》里火车道两旁的风景，我随后找来电影原声，感觉两者有些许类似。其视觉感堪比前几张专辑里的olive grove facing the sea。

Crack the shutters open结尾那一下听上去像coldplay的lovers in japan的结尾。set down your glass的开头听上去又有点儿像Brian Eno的By This River。

the lightning strike简直就是田园诗三部曲，暴雨，暴雨后的平静，和曙光，这三首和小情绪无关，听得仿佛置身广阔高原中的村落，或是指环王里的仙境，已经不必在乎歌词。

小不满：唱功有些下降，录音对人声的捕捉没前面专辑好。
