Hello! I’ve been watching anime for a handful of years, but if you have something you wanna recommend feel free to tell me! Any and All friend requests are welcome as well!

Rating System: (i rate based on enjoyment. to me that's the only thing that matters :)

10 = literally phenomenal. loved it to death and rewatch it religiously.
9 = really amazing. enjoyed it a ton. just lacks one thing for a 10.
8 = great. loved it a lot. (this is my most used rating.)
7 = good. has areas to improve but overall i enjoyed
6 = tolerable. i could sit through it without wanting to pull my hair out
5 = average. nothing overly great but not the worst thing i’ve seen.
4 = more bad things than good things.
3 = garbage. a struggle to watch.
2= garbage x 2. absolutely trash but is at least a bit better than a 1.
1= the worst thing i’ve ever seen. absolutely appalling.

Nice black butler review - watched the anime in '16 and began reading the manga during spring :) really enjoying it - love Victorian era England, the old architecture, art of desserts and characters

I think it's the mindset of a lot of stuff. It's like, the more I review, the more my mind turns into reviewer mode when I try a story, and it spreads to all stories, and nothing seems to be enjoyable anymore, no matter what series it is, since it's too easy to see the logic leaks. How do we fix that? Is it to "not think too much"? Nobody's forcing anyone down any story's line.

I'm not forcing myself to do anything. It's nice that you enjoy lots of things. The only problem is the more I review stuff, the harder it is for me to find good things in stories.

So it's like, the first couple of volumes (1-8) are adrenaline traps, and real development happens after volume 11?

Oh, ok. So does the character development get better as time goes on? Like, after volume 12. And glad you enjoy action stories.

What's your opinion on Wind Breaker? Just asking.

I think it kinda gets too repetitive and has too many characters. It feels like the "monster of the day" trope, but switch the "monster" with "gangs". And it kinda feels like all the lady characters are portrayed as "damsel in distress", which is kinda "meh". But still.

What are your thoughts about the story? Do you like it? I kinda think volume 12 is the place where there's finally a lot of character development (Umemiya). But still.
