Yo, to the chosen one who found his/her way to my profile. (spoilers for possible grammatical and spelling mistakes!)

I started watching anime when I was a child (but only one ep here and there of a random series that aired on tv), but really getting into it was like at the end of 2018 (?)

I would say that I prefer manga over anime but i currently like both equally. I'm also trying to catch on all the anime of the last few years but due to work/no motivation it's been pretty hard to watch them frequently.

I rate a show based on how much i enjoyed it during my watch sessions. So an anime can have bad animation but if i liked the story or the characters, the vibe etc. it would be still good for me (the other way around too)
