I had a thought about why Imu wants Vivi.

So we know Brook knows Gunko, the princess Imu possessed, who is a world noble and we know Imu can't be in the outside world for long, hence the possession.

My idea is, maybe due to contract Imu can only possess princess of the original world nobles, but due to proximity the 19 families have been corrupted, which means Imu can only use a small amount of power. It could also be why theyre such shitheads too, corruption by the devil.

Perhaps Vivi being a princess of the original 20, but one whose line left the 20 makes her purer and perhaps a better vessel. One that allows Imu to draw out more power when in possession.
