Homunculus is a pretty intense manga. The story follows a man who undergoes a surgery called trepanation and starts seeing bizarre creatures that reflect people's traumas and desires. The manga deal with themes like identity, insanity, and emotional repression. I highly recommend to u, even though you don't have many heavy mangas among your favorites aside from Berserk lol
Btw, do you have any recommendations for a cute and relaxing anime to watch? I’ve tried watching some, but after watching Joshiraku, I kind of can't get into most of them
