Hey man! I read your Lookism review and wanted to point something out. I’m also a big fan of the manhwa, but I don't quite agree with your point that "this is the ideal way to do long-term storytelling."
In what world is it ideal to constantly add characters every arc and expand the power system so that gen 0 suddenly eclipses gen 1 out of nowhere? How is it good that our characters basically have superpowers now, almost like in MHA? I just don't understand the term "ideal" in this context when the manhwa shifted so drastically from a social commentary theme to a mafia theme (which I don't mind, I still think it's peak, it's just not "ideal" storytelling). I feel like the author is just going with the flow without planning too far ahead.
If you could expand on what you meant by that, I would really appreciate it! Have a nice day!
