Hi all! This is a collection of all the anime I've seen, with various scores and comments. Please be respectful of my space if you intend to interact with me.

In general, I consume anime to understand, connect, and discuss the artists behind any given project. As MAL dictates, my opinions are represented in a score from 1-10. For the most part, it helps categorize my feelings in a simple way. That said, an arbitrary number doesn't always tell the whole story. To help you understand where I'm coming from, I have a few points worth listing:

I try my best to at least respect most projects, because there are always going to be awesome people working in this field who likely have a lot more passion and insight than I do as a spectator.

Interpreting art is just a basis of opinion, not bound to the depth of one's intelligence. I am honest about my feelings here because this is supposed to be fun! However, some of my comments are outdated, so please take them with a grain of salt.

My scores are based on the level of connection I felt to a piece and what I thought made it shine or fall short. I experience every project differently, but understanding how something resonates with me personally is one of my most conscious efforts.

Regarding inherent biases surrounding source material. My goal is to form an accurate impression of an anime's individual merits as an audio-visual medium. I'd much rather judge a project for what it is rather than what it could have been. Source material (usually) comes second.
