Oh cool! Quite the first anime I must say, with what happened in episode 1.
I started in 2017 (though I did watch random episodes and most of the movies of Pokemon at the time as a kid) and my first anime was Attack on Titan. :)

So, how was your introduction to the manga after starting with Golden Age? I'm sure Black Swordsman was probably better since you had the context, but personally, I've always liked the dark fantasy stuff more. I love Golden Age and all too, but it's my least favorite part :x
So you've not re-read the manga a few times, but just trudging slowly? Come on, struggling as a manga fan is part of the experience! You can't skimp on that! :P
But don't worry, at least it IS continuing (well too, I believe) after Miura's tragic passing, so at least you won't forever be stuck. When do you usually feel right reading it?
I guess I can relate somewhat, since it took me quite awhile to get to 364 and only read it once it was confirmed there WAS more.

I sympathize. But I just prefer anime more, so maybe that's why in my case. What about you?
I'm curious about what you'll think of Berserk once you get to the newest stuff. When his best friend and students took over. I still like it, but I know fan backlash has gotten worse at the same time, unfortunately.
