I am not sure where this is from, but I think it is Mint on an old Thinkpad.

I went with Linux Mint (Cinnamon) since I wanted a very beginner friendly experience, and I’m liking it so far!

No more new features for intel macs after 5 years. They will be dropped completely from security patches in 2028.

Though you still have to suspend by yourself when you’re done.
