I use a self hosted Wazuh server. There is a lot to it but its very comprehensive.
Some would say that a generated random series of sounds is a form of avant-garde music. So it could be immediate.
No thankfully I don’t because that is frankly inhumane and I’m sorry you have to deal with that.
I have only to leave a message for my doctor requesting a refill every 90 days. Then a few days later I get a text with a code. I use the code to pick up the meds from a pharmacy vending machine (open 24/7) a 5 min walk from my home.
In the context of No Stupid Questions, I understand a genuine question to be one where the asker seeks knowledge and/or understanding, for example: Is it safe to eat cheese that’s been in my freezer for 3 years?
Maybe I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure its not for people looking for debates or arguments.
Unless I’m missunderstanding, thats what a copyright notice is for.

Great article but this shouldn’t be called “Tricks” it should be called Shell Basics. I’m old enough to remember taking an Intro To Unix course and there was an entire day on the shell where these types of commands were presented as essential learning.
If you have skills that are in demand in a particular country then there will be a path to residency and possibly citizenship. Many trades are in demand in many places. In some places the demand is so high you can get by speaking English. There may even be incentives offered to people with qualifying skills to move there, like low or no income tax.
Also people who get hair cuts and/or shave their heads?

Ky Dickens is a lying exploiter of vulnerable people.
Is a seamripper really that much better than undoing the seams with nail scissors?
Yes! Its designed for the job and you can do it very quickly once you’ve used it a few times.
One way by 1994 was you got your Windows 3.1 computer and you get a modem and plug it to your landline. You install an app called Trumpet Winsock and then you then you pay for a subscription to an Internet Service Provider (ISP). Then your computer uses the landline to call your ISP to connect to the internet.
Then you run a browser and its like today but slower and more primitive.
In 2002 I was lost. I went to Las Vegas ready to gamble it all away. I got in late. There I sat on the bed. Unable to move on. I don’t know why but on a whim I opened the drawer of the night stand. There I saw it. I don’t know who put it there or why. The Linux Bible. All I know is from that very day my life was changed.
In 1998, the Open Source Definition was created for clarity. A lot of people were confused between Free Software/GPL, and other types of open source software. People would make a lot of assumptions that it meant many things it didn’t so a formal definition was written down.
It doesn’t seem like it worked to clarify much as people still have wildly differing views on what Open Source means or what they think it should mean.
The wikipedia page that features the image you posted has explanations of how the boader got that way.

My dog is way too big to share the bed with. He has his own bed at the foot of mine. He’s very well trained and knows to not even put a paw on the bed. However, being so big, he can easily lean in and give my ear a long loud wet sniffing when I try to sleep in.
We never agree if they mean bury the content somewhere at the bottom. Or if it means " I disagree with what you wrote”.
I think this is a huge point and one thing I think is nice about Slashdot: you can indicate a reason for your vote.
