Edna Switzer’s third grade class pose with hands folded on their desks for a 1907 photograph taken inside Grand Island’s Platt Elementary School and is now part of Stuhr’s collection. Platt School opened in 1888 and is still standing at the Seventh and Elm Street. The photograph was likely taken near the Christmas season.
