How To Sprint Fast:  These two tips can help you run faster on the track and hopefully bring down your best times!  • Stay relaxed: your face, neck, shoulders, etc should be relaxed to run smooth and fast instead of strained and choppy. Your cheeks should almost feel like they’re jiggling! Aka unclench that jaw.  • Put force into the ground instead of focusing on using your energy to pull up or reach far. Also focus on short ground contacts while you do this to have a springy, explosive, smooth sprinter stride! Overstriding? 💪

This means landing with your feet under your hips and not in front of your body. You can practice this with standing still, leaning forward untill you start "falling forwards" and maintaining that angle. Once you are running, try to run the same pace as usual but increase the steps per minute a bit for a short ground contact time.
