For me a lot of core workouts can cause lower back pain because I have slight scoliosis. I manage to not have pain when training core by adding a block right under my pelvis and I don’t over extend. So I only extend my legs as far as comfortably possible so my lower back is not compromised. Follow this simple tip if you want to improve your core & ab workout:

✔️ Don’t arch your low back, keep it flat instead!

If you’re not doing it right, let’s fix it! Here’s how:
 • 👉 Slow down the movement
 • 👉 Focus on pulling the navel in
 • 👉 Only lower the feet as long as you keep your low back pressed to the mat - this means the legs might not go as low and that’s ok!

By making these small changes, you’ll avoid injury, and speed up your ab results.
