There are so many variables involved in how the glaze would look like when fired. This specific combo is very reactive to many conditions: 1️⃣ the color of the clay body 2️⃣ how well I’m mixing the glaze 3️⃣ the thickness of the layers 4️⃣ how well-distributed the SiC is in my glaze 5️⃣ how dry the glaze is 6️⃣ the application methods 7️⃣ the amounts and distribution of colorants and stains I am still to make the exactly the same vase, they’re all so different every time I make them!
