This is a set of two tables of notes and rests - whole, half, quarter, and eighth - laid out by name, number of beats, and what I have the students say when reading rhythms together. I find this important to get the distinction between the name of the note and the word/syllables used when reading rhythms - it seems to help with long term recall of the note names.
