Sablé Cookies Recipe
Buttery and melt-in-your-mouth cookies ideal for special occasions or as a delightful treat with coffee or tea.
**Ingredients:**
- 250 g margarine
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 whole egg + 1 egg yolk
- 1 packet baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- Vanilla essence
- Flour as needed to form the dough
Mix margarine, powdered sugar, cornstarch, oil, eggs, salt, and vanilla until smooth. Gradually add flour and baking powder until a soft dough forms. Let the dough rest for 15-30 minutes. Roll out and cut into shapes. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
