This chart is used as a graphic organizer to help students understand the process of evolution by natural selection. VIDA = variation, inheritance, differential survival and reproduction, adaptation. I use this chart multiple times throughout the unit for each model organism we study, like the stickleback fish, the rock pocket mouse, Galapagos finches, or Kettlewell's moths.
