I have loved this podcast since it’s beginning. I love the dynamics of the host and I’ve had so many good laughs however, I personally wish that they would stick more to the premise of the podcast of reviewing popular nonfiction books, rather than the general contemporary political commentary that some episodes cover. I also would love to see more review of books that are maybe not as popular now, but have sold a ton of copies in the past, and I’ve had major influence like rich Dad, poor Dad, seven habits of highly effective people, etc. I feel like Peter especially has gotten a lot more negative where I used to really enjoy his more generous take, or at least pointing out the generous interpretation of a book while still critiquing it. I feel like there’s been less nuance, like with the sapiens episode. I would’ve liked to see the thoughtful critique of past episodes and had to stop listening because it was a lot of calling the author and moron, overall giving five stars because this is still one of my favorite podcast based on how entertaining and smart Peter and Michael usually are and how the back catalog has a ton of really good episodes.
